About Us
Statement of Faith
At Forest Heights United Methodist Church, we are not hip or cool.
We do not even try to be relevant. How relevant was Jesus?
How many people today want to love their enemies? We struggle
to practice an ancient-future faith. Our worship is traditional.
We sing hymns, say creeds, and venture to the altar to receive
communion. Speaking of communion, we have open communion,
members, non-members, all are welcome. It is, after all, the
Lord’s Table. Who would he turn away? You won’t find all the
answers here. We happen to believe that the opposite of faith is
not doubt but certainty. Our prayer is only that in some way,
form, or fashion you will meet the risen Christ who is always
present as he promised. If this sounds like a place you may be
interested in exploring, please join us in this continuing journey
of faith together.
