Bottle Caps for Benches

Forest Heights UMC is joining churches in the Purchase District of our conference to collect bottle caps to be recycled into memorial benches honoring the 27 lives lost in the 2021 Mayfield tornado. Place your caps and lids in the bucket located near the church office.

YES to these recycled caps: Caps from food products such as milk, juice, broth, peanut butter, mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard. Caps from toothpaste, detergent, deodorant, and spray paint are also acceptable.

NO-NO naughty list: Please do NOT donate dirty caps, caps lined with foil or cardboard, caps containing any metal. Also, please do not donate bottles or other containers – caps or tops only!
